Effective December 1, 2025, that Government of Alberta implemented the Police Review Commission to investigate complaints about the conduct of police officers.
The Police Review Commission (PRC) is an independent civilian body with the goal of fair and unbiased investigations that hold law enforcement accountable while strengthening public confidence in policing across Alberta.
